A Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) is a company that owns real estate properties and let's in investors to buy in shares, in return receive dividends(quarterly). REITS mostly invest into commercial(Shopping malls, Arcades, Parking areas, Office Buildings), residential(Apartments, Condos, Town houses, villas), industrial, Hotels and other cash flowing Real Estate properties and REITS are mostly traded on the stock exchanges like Uganda Stock Exchange(USE) although none is currently listed. In Uganda there are mostly likely to be traded by stock Brokers like Baroda Capital Markets (U) Ltd, Crane Financial Services (U) Ltd, Equity Stock Brokers (U) Ltd, Dyer & Blair (Uganda) Ltd, African Aliance (Uganda) Ltd, First Renaissance Securities Ltd, Crested Stocks and Securities Limited, UAP Financial Services, ABSA Bank and more.
Our end goal is to Grow a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) to help grow individual investors, entities, organizations, local and foreign build up their Asset portfolios and finances by investing into Real Estate investments that are less risky and cash flowing.
This REIT shall be called Ajabx Real Estate Investment Trust (AREIT) and is a hybrid REIT that invests in Real Estate Development, Rental properties and issuing out mortgages.
